It's Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Do you have a flickr stream? If so, join and add your photos to this group (I had three appropriate photos to add). For every photo in the group, Yahoo! is donating a dollar to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure fund up to $50,000.00.

My local Safeway (probably all of them) is having their employees wear pink shirts under their vests and aprons for the month of October. You can donate money to the cause at the checkstand. It's not a lot but I'm donating a few bucks each shopping day (Thursday for me) in memory of my grandmother.

Yay for you!!!! Congrats on raising awareness and money. I ran the Race for the Cure this year and was very touched and inspried by all the surviviors and the people running in memory/honor of survivors. I've oddly never known anyone with Breast CA, so it really amazed me how many people have been affected.
